Position: Senior Financial Consultant

Position Summary:

Under the guidance of the Controller and in alignment with the policies and procedures of Episcopal Homes of Minnesota (EHM), as well as generally accepted accounting principles and applicable regulations, this role supports the Controller in overseeing fiscal reporting, audit processes, financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and general administrative duties.

Compensation and Work Schedule:

  • Annual Salary: $75,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a hybrid schedule available post-training

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management

  • Preparation of Annual and Monthly Financial Statements
  • Assistance in the Preparation of Audit and Tax Reporting Schedules
  • Creation of Regulatory Reports for Federal, State, and Grant-Making Agencies
  • Development and Execution of Financial Modeling and Forecasting

Organizational Performance

  • Support Business Unit Managers in Planning, Measuring, and Maintaining Key Metrics
  • Design Ad Hoc Tools for Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting on Business Unit Activities
  • Provide Operational Data Reports on Key Metrics for Management Review

Data Analytics

  • Extract Data from Primary and Secondary Sources
  • Clean and Analyze Data to Transform Raw Information into Usable Formats
  • Interpret Results Using Statistical Tools and Techniques
  • Identify Trends and Patterns in Data Sets

Essential Personal Qualifications:

  • Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit
  • Proactive, with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to gather and analyze information accurately
  • Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, capable of providing clear information to stakeholders
  • Independent problem-solver with creative troubleshooting abilities

Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
  • Familiarity with Business Central
  • Working Knowledge of Jet Reports
