As a Senior Case Management Specialist, you will deliver comprehensive case management services to youth who have experienced foster care. Collaborating closely with the Program Manager, you will assist in the development, monitoring, and evaluation of program policies, procedures, and services. This role also involves recruiting and supervising volunteers and interns.
Your responsibilities will include providing family, individual, and group support through various avenues such as individual consultations, Youth Leadership Councils, Independent Living Classes, and facilitated support groups.
Key Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with licensure for supervising interns or a related field, along with two years of relevant experience, including education or training in parent education. A Master's Degree in Social Work is preferred with appropriate licensure.
- A valid driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and current insurance are mandatory.
- Exceptional communication skills are essential to foster rapport and trust with families.
- Ability to empathize and connect with low-income families, teen parents, grandparents, and others raising relatives' children, while effectively engaging with participants from diverse backgrounds.
- Capability to work independently and relate to a variety of individuals.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, database management, and publishing software.
