Position Overview

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Production Manager at Telementum Global. Alphacomm specializes in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of wireless accessories, serving over 18,000 distribution points primarily in the North American prepaid wireless sector. As a leader in the industry, Alphacomm manages numerous carrier brands and offers carrier-licensed accessory portfolios for over fifty devices launched each year. In-house brands such as Quikcell and BosBos are key players in the prepaid market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee inbound, stocking, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping functions as assigned. Manage production module inventory levels to optimize production efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs to align with business objectives and growth strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's safety protocols.
  • Foster team building, cross-training, and motivation among team members.
  • Adjust production schedules as necessary to meet operational demands.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all production processes.
  • Create and manage daily production plans based on volume and workforce throughput.
  • Supervise daily production activities to ensure goals are met efficiently using production monitoring tools, dashboards, and reports.
  • Assess employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Promote team morale and engagement among team members.
  • Manage product launch and promotion schedules in collaboration with Sales and Product departments.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with warehouse technology, including RF and Warehouse Management Systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Contribute to the overall objectives of the Operations Department.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Knowledge of production machinery is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work extended hours as necessary.
