We are looking for a dedicated Retail Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our team. The successful candidate will manage various operational aspects of the store in partnership with the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operational functions of the store in collaboration with the General Manager.
  • Implement and uphold Big Dave's Cheesesteaks' Standard Operating Procedures to guarantee exceptional customer service.
  • Lead the Big Dave's Training program for team members to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Execute company directives as assigned.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations consistently.
  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Effectively communicate and enforce operational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain food specifications, recipe compliance, and presentation standards.
  • Monitor and achieve ticket time standards consistently.
  • Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and cleaning products to ensure smooth operations.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate inventory control levels.
  • Ensure that equipment, facilities, and premises comply with regulatory and SOP standards.
  • Keep small wares well-stocked and in optimal condition.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards for both the interior and exterior of the establishment.
  • Adhere to sanitation practices as per regulations and SOPs.
  • Properly store and manage food items, ensuring correct labeling, dating, rotation, and temperature control.
  • Implement and supervise a thorough deep-cleaning schedule.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a leadership role within the food service sector.
  • Exhibit a customer-focused approach and a genuine desire to assist patrons.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial.
  • Self-driven, capable of working independently, and motivated to meet objectives.
  • Thrives in a dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrates energy, initiative, creativity, and flexibility.
  • Comfortable in a prominent role within the organization.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Honest, ethical, and dependable.
  • Expected to participate in all mandatory meetings, whether virtual or in-person, as required by business needs.
  • Support the General Manager during team meetings and briefings.
  • Capable of bending, stooping, reaching, and pushing during daily tasks.
  • Able to lift or move kitchen supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to undertake additional assigned tasks as necessary.
