Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Wellness Pet Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Oversee the production process, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production planning, quality assurance, and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as operations management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a production or operations management role, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in production planning and inventory management software.
  • Certifications: GMP certification, or willingness to obtain.
