Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
As a vital member of the LIFE Care/Palliative Medicine team, you will deliver specialized medical care to individuals facing serious or life-threatening health challenges. Your role will encompass a diverse range of environments, from outpatient clinics to hospital settings.
EDUCATION
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Professional Nurse equipped for advanced clinical practice, having completed an accredited post-basic or advanced educational program recognized by the Board of Nurse Examiners. A Master's degree in nursing is highly desirable. A minimum of three years of nursing experience is required, with at least two years in an advanced practice role preferred. Training in Hospice/Palliative Medicine is advantageous, and certification in Hospice/Palliative Nursing is a plus.
LICENSURE
Applicants must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Texas and be credentialed by the State to function as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Prescriptive authority is recommended for this position.
