Position Overview:
The Geriatric and Palliative Care Specialist will be part of a dedicated team within the Division of Geriatrics, Gerontology, and Palliative Medicine. This role encompasses both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, focusing on delivering comprehensive care to patients with serious illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide inpatient care from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring high-quality management of patients in need of palliative services.
2. Offer outpatient consultations during weekdays, addressing symptom management for patients referred from oncology and other medical services.
3. Engage in academic activities, adhering to institutional policies and contributing to the educational mission of the department.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Palliative Medicine, demonstrating a commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
