POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES


The Advanced Practice Nurse is an integral member of the LIFE Care/Palliative Medicine team, dedicated to delivering specialized medical care to individuals facing serious or life-threatening health conditions.

This role encompasses a diverse range of environments, including outpatient and inpatient care settings.

EDUCATION


The candidate must be a Registered Professional Nurse equipped for advanced clinical practice, having acquired knowledge and skills through an accredited advanced educational program recognized by the Board of Nurse Examiners.

A Master's degree in nursing is highly preferred. A minimum of three years of nursing experience is essential, with two years in advanced practice being advantageous. Training in Hospice/Palliative Medicine is preferred, and certification in Hospice/Palliative Nursing is desirable.

LICENSURE


The individual must hold a current license as a Registered Nurse and be credentialed to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

It is recommended to possess prescriptive authority.
