Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Manager to join our team in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new accounts, maintaining and expanding existing accounts, and marketing all bulk and packaged company products in the assigned geographical territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and grow market share.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to develop relationships and gain industry knowledge.
  • Complete expense reports and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, preferred.
  • Five (5) years of sales experience, with a proven track record of developing new or servicing existing markets.
  • Strong sales and marketing skills, including lead generation and conversion.
  • Negotiation and problem-resolution skills, with the ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional and client relationships.
  • Knowledge of the cement industry and processes, including mix designs and concrete testing.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other desktop programs.
