Director of Marketing and Communications

At Damar Services, we're committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients. As a key member of our creative team, the Director of Marketing and Communications will play a vital role in implementing, monitoring, and evaluating our marketing communications strategy. This includes advertising, promotions, and public relations initiatives that support our organization's objectives.

This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can manage and inspire a team of creatives, including the digital marketing specialist and visual communications specialist. The Director of Marketing and Communications will collaborate with teams across the organization and engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate the importance of our mission.

Key responsibilities include project management, writing, content creation, social media management, and tracking and reporting KPIs. The successful candidate will work closely with the creative team to manage all internal and external creative deadlines.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Conceptualize and execute multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and consumer lifecycle, ensuring alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing campaigns with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  • Work with advertising and media agencies to support day-to-day creative deliverables.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly.
  • Manage content for all social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Media Specialist to create, maintain, and conduct regular analytics reporting across multiple sources and extract key insights for future campaign development.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, mass media, or related field required.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in Communications or Marketing required. 10+ years' experience preferred.
  • Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.
  • Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs.
  • Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar's insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical required.
