Position: Youth Activities Manager
Reports to: Director of Membership

The primary responsibility of the Youth Activities Manager is to design, coordinate, promote, and implement engaging activities for children and families. This role requires maintaining high standards and adhering to budgetary constraints. The ideal candidate will serve as an inspiring role model and demonstrate a commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Family Committee and Director of Membership.
  • Attend Family Committee meetings to ensure member needs are consistently met.
  • Oversee all Children and Family Activities, ensuring safety and adherence to procedures.
  • Address any behavioral concerns with children effectively.
  • Engage regularly with families to foster trust and comfort.
  • Coordinate schedules of activities with Club Directors.
  • Assist in creating the Social Calendar alongside the Director of Membership and culinary teams.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget for Children's Programs, negotiating with vendors as necessary.
  • Monitor the performance and success of all activities.
  • Work with the Communications Manager to promote all Children and Family Activities.
  • Handle all administrative tasks related to activities, including tracking costs and member billing.
  • Coordinate logistics with the Catering team for events.
  • Maintain an inventory of games and equipment.
  • Support the planning and execution of membership social events.
  • Provide ideas for content and event photography for newsletters.
  • Assist Membership Assistants at the front desk.
  • Maintain open communication with Membership Assistants regarding event details.
  • Recognize and anticipate individual member needs, updating profiles accordingly.
  • Ensure all members and guests receive courteous and efficient service.
  • Exercise sound judgment in significant matters.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or Child Development Certification from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within a youth program or similar position.

Certifications:

  • CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification required.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage change and resolve conflicts effectively.

Physical Requirements:
