About the Role
This Associate Director, HR role reporting to the VP, Human Resources, will be an integral member of the HR function in the areas of positive employee relations, culture, employee retention & engagement, total rewards, talent acquisition, and learning & development. The position will also function as the contact for day-to-day HR matters and closely partner with the VP, HR and the business to identify, build, and drive improved processes, programs, and systems. This position will be based out of our home office in Brentwood, TN.
Responsibilities
- Partner with management to ensure HR related initiatives and programs meet business objectives and consider the implications on employees and the organization.
- Serve as the main contact for HR vendors for general support and contracts/program delivery.
- Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs.
- Oversee leave administration with HR vendors and employees.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations (local and federal) remain up-to-date and are aligned with HR best practice and employee handbook.
- Implement benefit plan changes and costs with outside partners and assist with coordination of annual open enrollment.
- Ensure HR programs are administered in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage reporting and compliance activities including AAP and EEOC reporting requirements.
- Assess organization development requirements and implement programs to promote a high-performance culture.
- Counsel managers and employees on performance management, coaching, and development feedback.
- Conduct workforce analysis, develop, and execute programs to support staffing requirements and succession planning.
- Provide coaching to managers on building team dynamics of trust and collaboration, performance management, and on resolving conflict with compassion and fairness.
- Drive strategic HR planning initiatives related to organizational design, compensation planning, talent and succession planning, training & development and headcount management.
- Manage talent acquisition work across the business to foster engaged, diverse, and motivated teams.
- Manage new hire orientation programs and support to fast-track employee integration and onboarding.
Required Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree minimum
- 8-10+ years corporate HR experience in multiple disciplines, across multiple business functions and the country; including support of an outside salesforce.
- Experience in private and public high growth business environments with multiple demands specifically in the healthcare industry.
- Proficient in the areas of talent acquisition, benefits, analytics, compensation and systems.
- Partnered with learning & development to deliver employee & management training programs.
- Ability to work with and manage ambiguity and pivot quickly as business needs change.
- Strong working knowledge of both federal state, and local state laws affecting employment and the workplace (FMLA, Wage & Hour, etc.).
- Ability to interact well with others, build relationships across all levels, and work within a team.
- Ability to be a self-starter, ambitious, with a strong work ethic.
- Strong analytical and data management skills and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent project management and execution skills with limited oversight.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
