As a Human Resources Intern at Compassus, you will lead strategic projects during your semester(s) at our Brentwood, TN headquarters. These projects will be student-driven and focus on various HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Colleague Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Learning and Development, and HRIS. In addition to project work, you will assist in creating and maintaining departmental materials, collaborating with your team, and communicating with HR Leaders. You will also help manage various department-specific projects.

As a team member, you will receive direct mentoring from senior and staff-level colleagues to achieve your internship goals and participate as a valued member of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seek out new information and resources to drive project development.
  • Develop novel solutions for effective project implementation.
  • Communicate identified needs and potential solutions to VPs and Directors within the HR team.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Evaluate and document program initiatives to inform resource allocation decisions.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a positive working relationship between program colleagues and corporate personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Language Skills

Ability to write professional business correspondence and present information effectively to groups of Directors, patients, families, and the public.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other relevant software.

Other Qualifications

Strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a history of success as a team member on project deliverables and meeting deadlines and budgetary requirements.
