Position Overview

The Human Resources Executive will strategize, direct, and oversee the operations of the Human Resources (HR) division, ensuring adherence to legal standards and the effective execution of the organization's mission and talent management strategy. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is a key member of the senior leadership team. Please note that this position is not remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new personnel within the HR department.
  • Collaborate with management to offer guidance and direction on performance management.
  • Administer the organization's performance evaluation system to guarantee timely and constructive assessments.
  • Manage employee disciplinary actions and terminations in line with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals related to staffing and retention.
  • Design, implement, and manage policies, processes, training programs, and initiatives to meet the HR compliance and strategic needs of the organization.
  • Oversee the administration of HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary issues, performance management, and employee development.
  • Identify staffing requirements and develop best practices for recruitment and talent management.
  • Conduct analysis of organizational trends by reviewing reports and metrics from the HR information system.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; regularly review and update policies as necessary.
  • Stay informed on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in HR and employment law, and communicate relevant updates to upper management.
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget.
  • Facilitate professional development and training opportunities for HR staff.
  • Oversee provider credentialing processes as per established policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in healthcare human resource management is required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly preferred.
