About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at One Haus. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef and ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and efficiency in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality and service.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to drive culinary innovation and excellence.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and labor scheduling, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing and receiving team to ensure timely and accurate receipt of ingredients and supplies.
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff.
  • Work closely with the dining room team to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant or similar establishment.
  • Proven track record of success in a sous chef or chef de partie role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or culinary arts certification preferred.
  • Strong financial and computer skills, with experience working with P&L and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
