HR Business Partnerships Specialist

As an HR Business Partnerships Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our designated business units by providing expert advice, consultation, and guidance on the application of CVS Health policies and practices.
Job Summary:
This is a high-volume, fast-paced role that requires proactive support and intervention to promote a positive employee relations culture. As an HR Business Partnerships Specialist, you will effectively manage a caseload of workplace inquiries and concerns, assisting leaders with coaching, corrective actions, and terminations while meeting case management metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive support and intervention to promote a positive employee relations culture
- Partner collaboratively with various cross-functional stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, Compliance, Legal, etc.
- Effectively manage a caseload of workplace inquiries and concerns
- Assist leaders with coaching, corrective actions, and terminations
- Meet case management metrics, such as closing cases within a certain time frame and following established case management processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of employee relations experience, including direct experience managing, advising, and resolving employee relations cases
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and utilizing employee relations case management systems
- Knowledge of current state and federal employment/labor laws and regulations
- Ability to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience interacting with labor unions and advising on labor relations matters
- Ability to assist and advise on the development of employee/labor relations trends and insights reporting
- Proven analytical skills, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills, including expertise in conflict management, investigation, negotiation, and influencing
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent amount of experience and education
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $113,000 - $129,000, depending on experience, education, and location. This salary range is based on national averages and may vary depending on the specific location within the United States. This role is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
