Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Program Oversight: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Family Medicine Residency Program, ensuring alignment with Kheir Clinic's mission and goals.
  • Resident Education: Develop and implement educational curricula, ensuring residents receive comprehensive training in family medicine and related specialties.
  • Faculty Development: Recruit, evaluate, and develop faculty members, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality education and mentorship to residents.
  • Program Evaluation: Conduct regular program evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance resident education and clinical experiences.
  • Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure the program's compliance with ACGME and institutional requirements, maintaining accreditation and ensuring a high-quality learning environment.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with department chairs, hospital administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure program success and alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Board-certified in Family Medicine or related specialty.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a program director or faculty member in a residency program.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in program development, evaluation, and accreditation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with residents, faculty, and staff.
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and promote cultural competence in the program.
