Job Summary

The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential treatment program, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction and program completion. This role will involve managing staff performance, developing client schedules, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Client Satisfaction and Program Completion: Develop and implement strategies to improve client satisfaction and minimize non-completion rates.
  • Recruitment and Retention: Lead the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training processes for direct care support staff.
  • Client Schedule Development: Collaborate with the clinical director to create and refine client schedules.
  • Staffing Schedule: Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage at all times.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the safety and upkeep of the facility, upholding stringent standards.
  • Leadership and Morale: Foster a positive and supportive environment to maintain client and staff morale.
  • HR Coordination: Liaise with HR to facilitate the onboarding of new staff members and handle terminations.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with FSP providers as part of our community outreach efforts.
Requirements
  • Joint Commission Accreditation standards: 1 year of experience (Preferred)
  • Computer and EMR system literacy: 3 years of experience (Preferred)
  • California DSS regulations for MH programs: 1 year of experience (Required)
  • California DHCS regulations: 1 year of experience (Preferred)
Work Environment

This is an in-person role, requiring the Program Director to be present on-site at our facility in Sylmar, California.
