Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residency Program Coordinator to join our team at The Lundquist Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the residency program, ensuring seamless operations and providing exceptional support to our trainees and faculty members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about program developments and best practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with trainees, faculty, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, exercising initiative and judgment to prioritize tasks and manage daily responsibilities.
  • Analyze and resolve minor issues using knowledge of Institute policies and departmental procedures.
  • Meet productivity and task management standards for assigned duties, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the department by taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in academic medicine clinical/administrative operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of GME, Joint Commission, and program accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial and operational data, preparing reports and recommendations as needed.
  • Leadership skills, with experience in developing and implementing complex administrative programs.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, with occasional overtime required based on the needs of the Institute. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and supporting the mission of The Lundquist Institute.

Salary Range

$66,000-$85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
