Residency Program Coordinator

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California is seeking a highly skilled and organized Residency Program Coordinator to provide programmatic support for our accredited educational training programs.

This is a full-time position that will serve various roles in the Medical Education office, providing services to multiple residency training programs and over 86 trainees. The successful candidate will partner with faculty to ensure an optimal training environment for learners, responsible for designing, conducting, promoting, evaluating, and supporting education programs in compliance with organizational objectives and requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least one year of experience coordinating an educational program in an academic medical center or similar setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and web-based applications is required, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, conduct, promote, evaluate, and support education programs
  • Partner with faculty to ensure optimal training environment
  • Coordinate programmatic and operational activities
  • Support learners, program directors, and program leadership
  • Manage confidential information discreetly and responsibly

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • At least one year of experience coordinating an educational program
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and web-based applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of ACGME accreditation process and institutional requirements
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of graduate medical education programs
  • Comprehensive understanding of UCLA policy and procedures

Pay Range: $49.65 hourly
