- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and inefficiencies in transportation processes, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing environmental impact.
- Implement sustainable practices and initiatives to enhance operational sustainability.
- Claims Management:
- Proactively manage and minimize claims by implementing risk mitigation strategies, conducting thorough investigations, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to address root causes of claims and implement preventive measures.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage, with a focus on sales and operations management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and technology, including TMS (Transportation Management System) and tracking systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards in transportation and logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results, meet targets, and exceed customer expectations.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
