As a Sales Representative at PLS Logistics Services, you will be the face of our company, building strong relationships with customers and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, while providing exceptional customer service and support.

Your First Week

  • Get familiar with our company culture and values
  • Learn about our logistics services and industry
  • Participate in our comprehensive training and orientation program
  • Familiarize yourself with our business model and transportation management system
  • Start building your network and developing your sales skills

Your First Month

  • Develop a portfolio of clients through cold calling and lead generation
  • Understand how to negotiate pricing and close deals
  • Take charge of client service issues and resolve them efficiently
  • Be open to coaching and learning, and put in the time and effort to be successful
  • Update our tracking system accurately throughout the day

Your First Six Months

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to your customers, helping them manage their logistics challenges
  • Liaise with Logistics Coordinators to help shoulder your load and bring in more business
  • Seek out promotional opportunities to move up the ranks
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the industry, including rates, capacities, and carriers

Your First Year and After

  • Continuously grow and develop your skills and knowledge to stay ahead in the industry
