About the Role

Mohawk Opportunities Inc. is a leading provider of community-based services for individuals with mental illness, HIV/AIDS, and those who are homeless. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Program Director to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Program Director in overseeing the daily operation of the program, including client services and staff supervision.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to staff as they deliver client-centered services and complete documentation.
  • Ensure client services meet all requirements and are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise staff in providing client services, including supportive counseling, crisis prevention skills, and medication supervision.
  • Role model and provide support to staff as they deliver client services.
Requirements
  • BA/BS in human services or related field, with 1 year of experience in human services, or an Associate's degree in human services with 3 years of experience.
  • Experience working with mentally ill populations, medication supervision, and residential experience required.
  • Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Valid and insurable driver's license.
  • Experience or education in crisis intervention and prevention preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
