Imogen Roche Foundation Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Program Director to join our team. As a key member of our afterschool program team, you will play a vital role in supporting the social and emotional learning of participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a diverse program staff in managing and supervising childcare and enrichment activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with essential stakeholders, including school administration, faculty and staff, inspectors, parents, and children.
  • Promote the program within the school community to increase enrollment.
  • Ensure program safety and compliance with all SACC regulations, DOE regulations, and IF policies.
  • Support regular communication with families, school administrators, and IF leadership.
Requirements:
  • Successful previous experience working with children, preferably in an after-school program.
  • 2+ years of classroom experience or currently pursuing a degree in education or a related field.
  • Excellent academic skills and practical experience in your subject area.
  • Ability to create an atmosphere that encourages creative thinking, verbal communication, and problem-solving.
  • Capacity to broaden and synthesize experiences in working with children.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
Salary:

$25-$30 per hour
