Job Title: Assistant Program Director

BronxWorks is a leading social services organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families in the Bronx. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Program Director to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services to clients and maintain accurate case records and statistics.
  • Assist the program director in recruiting and training direct service staff and administer personnel policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement regular communication with contract managers and funding sources to ensure program goals and reporting requirements are met.
  • Monitor program progress and submit required reports to funding sources.
  • Plan and develop budgets and work with fiscal staff to ensure timely payment from funding sources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including conducting assessments via home visits and/or site visits as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Social Sciences, Data Science, Business Analytics, Management or Marketing).
  • At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, including proficiency in data collection, processing, and interpretation.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating and convening groups, such as managing team projects or leading meetings and discussions.
  • Proficiency in modern business communications, including personal computers, electronic mail, voicemail, facsimile, and copier equipment.
