About the Role:

The Human Resources Generalist will play a critical role in supporting the HR department across key areas, including Employee Relations, Recruitment and Onboarding, Performance Management, Workers' Compensation, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). As a generalist, you will be responsible for assisting with performance reviews, employee complaint investigations, advising on disciplinary actions, and supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in handling employee complaints and participate in investigations to ensure prompt, effective resolution in line with agency policies.
  • Help resolve workplace conflicts by evaluating work-related concerns and collaborating with management to determine appropriate actions.
  • Advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, and performance issues.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions to enhance employee performance as needed.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and suggest improvements in HR practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality while interacting with staff at all levels

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or other related fields, along with 3-5 years of human resources experience, preferably in a generalist role. You should possess solid understanding of HR functions and best practices, including knowledge of employment laws and workers' compensation processes.
