Job Summary:

The Senior Admissions Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating the admissions process for prospective students. This position is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to applicants and admissions personnel, ensuring a smooth and efficient application journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and communicate federal, state, and institutional policies to students and staff.
  • Oversee the processing and evaluation of applications, ensuring adherence to established data standards.
  • Assess the eligibility of applicants and maintain updated records as new documentation is received.
  • Evaluate transfer student applications and provide initial assessments of transfer credits.
  • Serve as a secondary evaluator for residency petitions, verifying supporting documentation.
  • Deliver accurate information to prospective students regarding admission requirements and processes.
  • Lead the management of the admissions CRM system, ensuring data integrity and efficient processing.
  • Act as a Designated School Official (DSO) for international student admissions, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.
  • Mentor and train new admissions staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations in handling student records.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: A minimum of three years in a related role, preferably in a customer-focused environment.

Skills: Strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

This role is integral to the success of the admissions team and contributes significantly to the overall mission of the institution.
