Job Summary: As a Medical Services Registrar at LifeBridge Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with the organization's mission statement and values. Your responsibilities will include managing Emergency Room, Outpatient, and Inpatient admissions, as well as receiving and disseminating information to various hospital departments. You will also process information received from various sources, such as ORSOS and Patient Postings, as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process patient admissions and discharges in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Communicate effectively with department personnel, physicians, office staff, supervisors, and other hospital departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- At least one year of experience working in medical and/or medical insurance areas preferred.
Specific Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old to witness patient/guarantor signatures.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
