Job Summary

As a Survey Crew Chief with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., you will oversee the efficient operation of a field crew conducting construction field survey work. This includes boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, photo control surveys, route surveys, and construction stakeout. You will be responsible for ensuring the crew adheres to standard operating procedures and current health and safety standards on active construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate robotic total stations and GPS receivers to collect relevant data and information.
  • Lead a team of surveyors in the field, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain company equipment and survey vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific safe workplace principles and practices.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Professional Land Surveyor to achieve project goals.

Requirements
  • 5-8 years' construction-related survey crew chief experience.
  • Skilled in the use of GPS devices, data collectors, and/or Total Station.
  • Experience with Trimble and Access.
  • Valid Driver's License.
