Senior Survey Technician

Ulteig is seeking a highly skilled Senior Survey Technician to join our team. As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting field crew members to ensure field surveys are completed to the highest standards of practice for land surveying and within budgetary and time constraints.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and support survey field crew members to ensure field surveys are completed on time and within budget.
- Review projects for compliance with company standards and ensure a smooth interface with other disciplines within the company and directly with clients.
- Assist and mentor less experienced survey staff members and participate in developing a solid team.
- Participate in the support of numerous survey projects and interact with clients regularly.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in land surveying.
- Certified Survey Technician III, Certified Survey Technician IV, or LSIT preferred.
- Experience in construction, boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys as they relate to municipal, DOT, energy, renewable wind, and solar projects.
- Demonstrated ability to operate all survey field equipment (GPS, Robotic Total Station, data controllers, etc.).
- AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience, survey data processing software knowledge, and experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Must be willing and able to travel over 25% of the time.
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.
