As a Survey Field Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our surveying team. You will work under the supervision of the Party Chief, conducting daily survey preparation, including loading equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are on hand. You will also perform basic surveys, including leveling, traversing, boundary surveys, construction surveys, topographic surveys, and horizontal/vertical control surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily survey preparation, including loading equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are on hand.
  • Perform basic surveys, including leveling, traversing, boundary surveys, construction surveys, topographic surveys, and horizontal/vertical control surveys.
  • Operate, check, and make basic field adjustments on field equipment, including transits, total stations, robotic total stations, data collectors, levels, compass, tribrachs, tripods, and GPS equipment.
  • Interpret control and boundary monument records and data sheets, as well as locate control and boundary monuments in the field.
  • Ensure equipment and supplies are organized and orderly in equipment storage room.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of general field surveying methods and use of surveying equipment.
  • Proficient with mid-level math.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.

Experience:

  • 0-1 years of experience.
