Cunard - Beverage Specialist

An exciting opportunity has emerged to become a vital member of our Bar team aboard our prestigious Cunard vessels as a Beverage Specialist. Our Beverage Specialists play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by providing outstanding service. Collaborating with a diverse and close-knit team, you will be responsible for crafting and serving beverages, while upholding our exemplary company standards at all times.

To excel in this role, you should possess an extensive knowledge of cocktails, beers, and wines, and be able to confidently and professionally share insights about these offerings. You will also be aware of your individual revenue goals, as well as those of the team, and will be equipped to offer guidance and support to achieve these objectives.

Adaptability is key; you will need to respond swiftly to any changes based on guest feedback during each voyage. Your journey will commence with our esteemed White Star Training Academy, which will equip you with the necessary tools for a successful career.

To qualify for this remarkable position with Cunard, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience as a Beverage Specialist on a cruise ship or in a five-star hotel or bar setting.
  • WSET Level 2 in Wines and Spirits or an equivalent bar qualification.
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Fluency in English is essential for effective communication.
