Cunard - Beverage Specialist

An exciting opportunity has emerged to become a vital member of our Bar team aboard our luxurious Cunard vessels as a Beverage Specialist. Our Beverage Specialists play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience onboard by providing outstanding service. Collaborating with a diverse and close-knit team, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring that our high standards are consistently upheld.

To excel in this role, you will need a thorough understanding of cocktails, beers, and wines, and be able to confidently share your knowledge with guests. You will also be aware of your individual and team revenue objectives, offering guidance and support to help meet these targets.

Adaptability is key, as you will need to respond to guest feedback and adjust your approach accordingly on each voyage. Your journey will commence with our esteemed White Star Training Academy, equipping you with the necessary skills for a successful career.

To qualify for this exceptional position with Cunard, you should possess the following:

  • Experience as a Beverage Specialist on a cruise ship or in a five-star hotel or bar environment.
  • WSET Level 2 in Wines and Spirits or an equivalent bar qualification.
  • A proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Fluency in English, with effective communication skills.
