Cunard - Beverage Service Specialist

An exciting opportunity has emerged to become a vital member of our Bar team aboard our luxurious Cunard vessels as a Beverage Service Specialist. Our Bar Service Specialists play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience on board by providing outstanding service. Collaborating with an international and close-knit team, you will be responsible for the crafting and serving of beverages, ensuring that our esteemed company standards are upheld consistently.

You will need to possess an extensive knowledge of cocktails, beers, and wines, and be able to confidently and professionally share information about these offerings. Understanding your individual revenue targets, along with those of the team, will be essential, and you will be expected to offer guidance and support to help achieve these goals.

Adaptability is key, as you will need to respond swiftly to any changes required based on guest feedback during each voyage. Your journey will commence with our prestigious White Star Training Academy, equipping you with the necessary tools for a successful career.

To be considered for this remarkable position with Cunard, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience as a Beverage Service Specialist on a cruise ship or in a five-star hotel or bar.
  • WSET Level 2 in Wines and Spirits or a recognized bar qualification.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Fluency in English is essential for effective communication.
