Laundry Director

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of laundry operations at our large-scale laundry facility. Your primary goal will be to create a work environment that is effective, productive, and rewarding for your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership that fosters a team environment that promotes morale, passion, quality, and respect.
  • Ensure that production, quality, and quantity requirements are consistently met while maintaining budgetary standards and adhering to best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain performance, productivity, and operating costs while ensuring accurate reporting of all accounting data.
  • Serve as a liaison between the laundry plant, customers, and HHS leadership.
  • Demonstrate a continuous ability to maintain and/or improve customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage team member recruiting, training, development, and assignments.
  • Perform daily inspections and assessments and coach and counsel team members.
  • Analyze data and make adjustments to meet facility, budget, and compliance goals.
  • Drive compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of operations/management experience, preferably in laundry operations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms.
  • Ability to travel within assigned region.
  • Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industrial or commercial laundry management experience.
  • Associate's degree in business administration; bachelor's preferred.
  • Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish.
  • Familiarity with OSHA and other regulatory guidelines.
