Position Overview:

Under the supervision of the Value Stream Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the assembly of vessels and components essential to our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize various hand tools, including wrenches, impact guns, torque wrenches, sanders, and small grinders.
  • Assemble components following detailed instructions, ensuring accuracy by cross-referencing with the bill of materials (BOM) and blueprints.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and verify the proper functioning of overhead cranes.
  • Handle materials using cranes and forklifts.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Inspect finished components to confirm compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
  • Execute tasks according to established protocols, with limited scope for independent decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong understanding of basic mechanical or electrical repairs.
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints effectively.
Physical Requirements:

This role requires frequent walking, talking, and hearing. Occasional standing, sitting, and manual dexterity are necessary. The ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds is required. Specific vision capabilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Employees will work in both office and manufacturing settings, with occasional duties performed outside the typical office environment.
