This position offers a unique opportunity to be instrumental in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, influencing the future of American industry. We seek proactive individuals with a background in industrial operations. The responsibilities include overseeing multiple chemical, mechanical, and thermal processes, particularly metal casting utilizing advanced technologies like molten metal electrolysis and vacuum casting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Conduct daily inspections of the work area and equipment.
2. Prepare materials and configure equipment according to established work instructions.
3. Operate mobile and material handling machinery safely.
4. Monitor the processing of molten metal and the operation of vacuum casting equipment.
5. Adjust machinery and process settings to guarantee quality and efficiency.
6. Record and report production metrics accurately.
7. Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Perform additional tasks as required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
2. Experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally in metal processing.
3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
4. Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and familiarity with Excel.
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
