Position Overview:

As a Utility Technician under the supervision of the Value Stream Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the assembly of components and vessels utilized in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize various hand tools, including wrenches, impact guns, torque wrenches, sanders, and grinders.
  • Assemble components following detailed instructions, ensuring all parts are accurately pulled from the bill of materials (BOM) and matched against blueprints and work orders.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and verify the proper operation of overhead cranes.
  • Handle materials using cranes and forklifts.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
  • Follow established procedures with limited scope for independent decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a basic understanding of mechanical or electrical repairs.
  • Current forklift certification.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent walking, talking, and listening. Occasional standing, sitting, and manual dexterity are also necessary. The role may involve lifting or moving items up to 30 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Employees will work in both office and manufacturing settings, with occasional duties outside the typical office environment.
