Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team at the Massey Cancer Center. As a Clinical Nurse RN- Triage, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient plans.
- Triaging symptoms and providing advice throughout the patient's cancer journey.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in oncology or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible for compact state.
