Job Description: Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator

">

The Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator provides direct care to candidates for and participants in VCU Massey clinical trial research protocols. This role requires collaboration with treating physicians and/or principal/local investigators to recognize and respond appropriately to deviations from normal, identify, interpret, analyze, and evaluate patient conditions, and make alterations in treatment and diagnostic regimens.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, independent decision-making skills, expertise in antineoplastic agent administration, and clinical experience in oncology. A BSN from an accredited school of nursing or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required. Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Nursing and experience working with patients on clinical trials.

Estimated Salary: $68,000 - $85,000 per year

This salary range is commensurate with experience and reflects the cost of living in Richmond, Virginia. As a university employee, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid annual leave, and retirement planning.
