About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Center Director to join our team at Premise Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our health center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall management of a medium-sized health center, including staff supervision, workflow management, and operational processes.
  • Provide a moderate amount of time dedicated to patient care and/or technical expertise as needed.
  • Manage technical team leaders and monitor daily operational processes for medical leaders and providers.
  • Compile input for the performance appraisal process for all staff members.
  • Manage staff, including RNs, administrative, and technical staff, responsible for following appropriate processes for staff management, including talent acquisition, staff development, and performance management.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and present resolutions and recommendations to the Director, Client Operations.
  • Make recommendations regarding staffing models based on objective scheduling and volume analysis.
  • Understand and comply with all regulatory, procedural, policy, and licensing requirements.
  • Complete incident reports as needed and provide assistance to the Medical Care and Outcomes department regarding investigations and the resolution of complaints.
  • Communicate and coordinate corporate messages and ensure implementation of policies and procedures are followed.
  • Coach and provide feedback to staff on a regular basis.
  • Manage internal budgets, review expenses, purchase supplies, inventory equipment, medication, etc.
  • Assist in the identification and scheduling of local per diems.
  • Work collaboratively with the Medical Leader at the site to manage internal site issues.
  • Communicate regularly with staff, conduct meetings, and keep staff informed.
  • Act as the health center's infection control lead and collaborate with the corporate Director of Quality and Infection Control Officer.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Current license as a RN in practicing state.
  • Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) may be required for some sites.
  • Current hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers is required.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in the medical field.
  • 2-3 years' management experience.
  • Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC, or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices.

For individuals living in California only, Premise Health is required to include an estimate of the salary and benefits for this role. While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California compensation is $105,000 - $130,000 annually. Please note, this is a general guideline, and your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors will be taken into consideration.
