Job Title: Physical Therapy Director

At Concentra, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapy Director to join our team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and driving business outcomes.

Job Summary

The Physical Therapy Director will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of physical therapists, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of physical therapists to ensure high-quality patient care and business growth.
  • Develop and implement clinical workflows to optimize patient capture, processing of referrals, and scheduling.
  • Manage key clinical center metrics, including quality outcomes and holds therapists accountable.
  • Consistently demonstrate all components of the Physical Therapy Guidebook and the Perfect PT visit.
  • Manage clinical outcomes and address outlier cases with staff therapists.
  • Ensure compliance with individual State Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations.
  • Drive patient and client experience and satisfaction metrics.
  • Actively participate in CLT meetings with COD and CMD to improve quality, patient safety, outlier management, and ensure the ongoing development and growth of the center's business.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy (Doctor of Physical Therapy) from an accredited college or university.
  • Must meet licensure requirements of jurisdiction.
  • Customarily at least two years of demonstrated clinical experience in an occupational healthcare setting.

  • Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions.
  • Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated outstanding clinical knowledge of physical/occupational therapy services.
  • Demonstrated outstanding dedication to Concentra's philosophy of therapy in occupational medicine.
  • Demonstrated outstanding interest in the leadership of therapy staff.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and administrative abilities to the job responsibilities as described.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills and the ability to exercise proper judgment, make decisions, and motivate employees.
