Sales Manager Job Description

A challenging opportunity exists for an experienced sales professional to join our team at Sterling Life Sciences. We are seeking a skilled Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth in the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales quotas and business objectives.
  • Work closely with the President to develop business plans and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Evaluate distributor performance and provide recommendations to improve sales results.
  • Train distributors on company products and services.
  • Identify and address sales and product knowledge gaps among distributors.
  • Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and surgeons in the territory.
  • Design and implement incentive programs for surgeons.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the President.
  • Participate in weekly business review and planning meetings.
  • Develop and maintain a database of surgical hospitals and centers with sales volume and product penetration data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure fast customer support and quick turnaround.
  • Attend trade shows, laboratories, and conferences as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Critical Requirements:
  • Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory.
  • Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management.
