Job Summary

The California Department of Developmental Services is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician Instructor to join their Crisis Assessment Stabilization Team (CAST). As a member of this team, you will provide on-site assessments, in-home training, and support to individuals experiencing crisis in their family home or out-of-home placement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site assessments and provide crisis intervention services to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Develop and implement in-home training and support plans to help individuals manage crisis situations
  • Collaborate with community partners to promote long-term mental health and well-being
  • Provide education and training to individuals and their families on crisis management and mental health
Requirements
  • Valid California Driver's License (CDL)
  • Pass a drug screening and background investigation
  • Meet the minimum qualifications for the position, including education and experience
