We are a progressive organization rapidly establishing itself as a leader in the food services sector, specializing in corporate catering and restaurant management. We are currently seeking a dedicated and innovative Campus Food Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate food service operations across the campus.
  • Collaborate with team members to create strategic operational plans that align with the organization's mission and objectives, incorporating sustainable practices while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Foster a culture of safety, ensuring a work environment where all staff can perform without risk of injury.
  • Establish and uphold food production protocols for the procurement, storage, preparation, and service of food products.
  • Lead menu planning and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety standards across all areas.
  • Prepare operational forecasts, monitor expenditures, and report variances effectively.
  • Manage budgeting and accounting functions for the food service components.
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments.
  • Supervise unit personnel in areas such as production, merchandising, quality control, and labor management.
  • Recruit, train, and retain frontline staff.
  • Advocate for students, clients, employees, and the community.
  • Enhance customer service and employee engagement through effective feedback mechanisms.
  • Maintain records in accordance with PMS, governmental, and accreditation standards.
  • Engage with client management to ensure strong relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Develop and implement an annual marketing strategy for the account.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for new products and services that drive sales growth and client retention.
  • Communicate potential vertical sales growth opportunities with relevant experts.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-unit dining, retail, or catering operations.
  • Preferred experience in college/university or business dining environments.
  • At least 2 years of primary financial responsibility with direct reporting to clients and senior executives.
  • A proven history of developing and implementing strategies that enhance both revenue and profitability, alongside strong communication skills.
