Senior Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering projects and teams at Kyocera International, Inc. in Vancouver, WA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with our established policies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all engineering projects for the product line, division, or department assigned.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to meet customer requirements, quality, and sales objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering, design, and technical issues.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a team of engineers and technical personnel.
- Direct specific studies and research projects, and have authority to initiate and sign engineering or design changes.
- Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, and enforcing rules.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
- 5+ years of related experience and/or training required.
- 0-2 years of management experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of technical and/or business area of assignment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency in SAP or Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good working knowledge of statistics.
- Strong presentation skills and experience in forward-facing roles with customers and suppliers.
