About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior Engineering Manager** to lead our engineering projects and teams at Kyocera International, Inc. This is a key role that will be responsible for managing all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes to ensure they are in conformance with our established policies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all engineering projects for the product line, division, or department assigned.
  • Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with KII's established policies and objectives.
  • Provide guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
  • Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
  • Collaborate with outside suppliers on product development and work in partnership with KC-JPN on new material/equipment introduction to KII.
  • Maintain economical production methods and exercise a wide latitude of discretionary decision-making authority over all day-to-day planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
  • 5+ years of related experience and/or training required.
  • 0-2 years of management experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of technical and/or business area of assignment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in SAP or Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Good working knowledge of statistics required.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience in forward-facing roles with customers and suppliers.
Working Environment

The employee will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a moderate noise level. The employee will be required to stand for long periods and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
