Job Summary

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase the company's market share and revenue. This role will oversee the marketing team's daily responsibilities, develop marketing and product plans, and lead all marketing efforts to generate sales leads and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase market share and revenue.
  • Oversee the marketing team's daily responsibilities, including digital marketing and field marketing.
  • Develop and implement marketing and product plans based on strategic objectives.
  • Lead all marketing efforts, including online marketing promotions and offline events such as conferences and trade shows.
  • Work effectively with the sales team and other internal teams on lead harvesting and nurturing strategies.
  • Oversee and work with marketing partners and vendors to achieve promotional goals.
  • Generate weekly/bi-weekly reports on marketing promotions and analyze key marketing metrics.
  • Manage marketing team members and ensure the development of an employee-oriented company culture.

Requirements

  • Master's or higher degree in biological, biomedical sciences, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
  • 3+ years of experience leveraging data analysis to measure performance and evolve marketing tactics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in marketing solutions and applications such as Salesforce and Constant Contact or other email campaign tools.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to develop strategic vision and execute resulting plans.
  • Willingness to travel to marketing events and activities.

Compensation

  • $90,000 - $110,000 per year, plus bonus.

Location

  • Open to these locations - Boston, MA, San Jose, CA, or San Diego, CA (Onsite/Hybrid).
