We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Nurse Residency Program Coordinator. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of our Nurse Residency Program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with nursing staff, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition of new graduate nurses into the workforce.
- Collaborate with the nursing leadership team to design and deliver a comprehensive Nurse Residency Program that meets the needs of our patients and staff.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to new graduate nurses to support their professional development and transition into the role of a registered nurse.
- Develop and implement educational programs and resources to support the ongoing education and professional development of nursing staff.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of the Nurse Residency Program and make recommendations for improvement.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing leadership or education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
