Position Summary:
The Payroll Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all payroll processing functions for our organization with over 1000 employees, encompassing both Union and Non-Union payrolls. The selected candidate will ensure the precision, punctuality, and quality of payroll data while leading a team that delivers outstanding customer service and promotes operational excellence.

Primary Duties:
  • Administer complex payroll systems, including incentive programs, bonus distributions, and annual merit evaluations.
  • Develop and uphold internal policies and procedures to guarantee payroll accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise and mentor the Payroll Specialists to enhance system functionalities and provide necessary training and support.
  • Engage in ongoing process improvements and system upgrades.
  • Address intricate payment discrepancies promptly.
  • Generate payroll reports and collaborate with the accounting department as required.
  • Coordinate with benefits administration to ensure correct benefit deductions.
  • Oversee and reconcile 401K contributions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of payroll processing experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory payroll position.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing both union and non-union payrolls.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment.
  • Possession of a current TWIC card or the capability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
